Plant Stand

Items you will need to complete the job:

-4x4

-Electric Saw

-Wood Trim

-Finishing Nails

-Nail Gun

1.  Cut 4x4 into 4 pieces all the same length.  The length will determine how high the stand is so keep that in mind when deciding your length.

2.  Cut wood trim into 4 pieces.  Cut 2 pieces 8 inches long and 2 pieces 9 inches long.  These pieces will make a frame around the top of the 4 x 4's.

3.  On the floor, place the 4 x 4's tight together making a square (now your total square dimensions should be 8 x 8 inches).

4.  Place your trim pieces around the bottoms of the square; let the floor act as your level.  Use the nail gun to attach the trim pieces.

5.  Now turn your new plant stand right side up.  The framed portion should be at the top.  You can add extra stability to the bottom of the stand by using the nail gun to drive nails diagonally through the edges of each 4 x 4 into the other.
