King Size Duvet CoverSew side hemHem

King Size Duvet Cover 108 inches long by 96 inches wide.

Cut the Duvet Cover in half creating two panels. and sew a hem on the side that was cut.

Sew a straigt hem the length of the panel.

1.  Lay the king size duvet cover out of the floor and flood it in half width wise.  Make sure the edges are all ligned up and then cut down the fold for a straight cut.  This will create your two panels each 108 inches long and 48 inches wide.

2.  Use a sewing machine to sew a hem down the cut side of each panel.  Fold the cut edge over about an inch and sew the length of the panel.

3.  Choose what end of the panel you want to be the top.  Fold the top 4 inches of the panel over to create a pocket for the curtain rod. Sew the bottom of the fold across the width of the panel.

4.  Repeat the same steps on the second panel then hang.

Tips:

If you need the extra 4 inches in length you can use clip rings to hang the panel rather than folding the 4 inches to make a rod pocket.

Using a good quality king size duvet cover can save you quite a bit of money when it comes to buying 96+ inch curtain panels.
