Bathrooms and Kitchens, two of the most important rooms in your house, and unfortunately two of the easiest rooms to become outdated.  Check out these quick tips to get your bathroom back to a bathing beauty in no time!

Here are the key points to keep in mind when updating your bathroom.

1. Hardware.

Hardware

Hardware is a simple and quick step to updating the look of your current bathroom.  Check out your local hardware store for some hardware options.  A "Brushed Nickel" finish gives an updated look.

2. Mirror.

Mirror

Don't forget your mirror!  If your bathroom still has a plain, unframed piece of mirror, swap it out for a slightly smaller framed mirror.  This is one of the easiest updating fixes you can do!

3.Lighting.

Lighting

Get a bright idea and replace that old strip lighting.  Replace it with a new fixture for above the mirror, or ditch it all together and add Sconce lighting instead!

4. Countertops.

Countertops

Replace your countertops with an updated material.  There are a lot of new laminates on the market now that offer a great look for less money.  If budget isn't a problem, opt for a stone top, like granite, quartz, or marble!

5. Glass Shower Doors.

Shower Stall

If your bathroom shower has glass doors rather then curtains, swap out that outdated brass track, for a trackless glass door.  This is a pricier update but yields a truly amazing look in the end.

Of course there are a lot of other updates you could do such as, changing your flooring, shower tile, bathtub, or the entire layout of your room, but for those with less time and money these tips are a great way to get you on your way to having that fresh looking bathroom you've been wishing for!
